Patricia (Pat) Murphy; MS is the Executive Director/Chief Program Officer of United Cerebral Palsy of Broward, Palm Beach and Mid-Coast Counties.(UCP) Pat’s enthusiasm for her work, which expands 28 years as a leader at UCP has made her an enterprising role model in the community with an impressive history of team building, staff training and staff development. Her ability to motivate and inspire staff along with her vast program knowledge has contributed in enhancing the lives of thousands adults and children with developmental disabilities in the South Florida community. Pat has a track record of efficiency, establishing partnerships, growing organizational visibility and driving advocacy. Her oversight of UCP’s 10 million dollar budget has recently included a new Behavior Focus Respite Program and the opening of UCP’s 20th Group Home. As a Certified Behavior Analyst, Pat’s clinical expertise has assisted UCP in operating ten (10) Behavior Focus Group Homes for adults and children and the only Behavior Focus Day Training Program in Palm Beach County. Her extensive, yet diverse experience in Early Childhood, Adult Programming, program development, team building and her positive leadership style has made her a well-respected leader in the community. She is active in local, state, and national professional organizations, serving in a variety of committee and leadership roles.
